Writing: Be Original, It's Easy, And Profitable

Write About You

Be original. This means, writing about you. Your experiences, your knowledge, and your worldview. EL James, who wrote the phenomenally successful “50 Shades” trilogy, writes about herself. I’m not suggesting that she had the experiences she writes about in her fiction, they may be fantasies for all I know. However, I am suggesting that she has the feelings she engenders in readers as she writes.

If you understand the above paragraph, you’ll write ebooks which sell; this applies to nonfiction, as well as fiction. In a sense, I’m talking about being passionate about what you’re writing.
