I know several writers who've taken to the Kindle platform like the proverbial ducks to water. One writer friend turns out a new Kindle ebook every month, like clockwork. The last time we spoke, she had 11 ebooks selling -- and her income is rising month by month.

New Evernote 5 (Mac) Available in Beta

Last week we announced our completely redesigned Evernote 5 for Mac and showed you many of the new features on our What’s New page. Today, we’re excited to bring you the beta. Below you’ll find instructions on installing the Evernote 5 Beta. But first…

Important Note on Beta Software
BETA software is not final, which means that using it comes with some risks. These can range from corruption of your notes to data loss. If you’re not comfortable using beta software, we recommend waiting a bit for the general update to go live.

If you're an enthusiastic Evernote Mac user, as I am, the big day is here.

I've just installed the beta, and all I can say is WOW! The interface is gorgeous, very dark and similar to the latest Adobe apps -- Photoshop et al.

Do be aware however, as Evernote warns, that this is beta software. Things may go wrong. If you're running your entire writing business from Evernote, you may want to wait.

For me, the update is worth it for the shortcuts alone.
