1. “Tell Me the Story…”
No writer is a good judge of his own book. That’s why you get beta readers. I knew Regina’s beta readers had enjoyed the book, and I was looking forward to reading it myself.
So I called her, and asked her to tell me the story of the book. Then I asked her to tell me about her main characters. By the end of the 15 minute call, Regina was sounding much more upbeat; she was enthusiastic about her book again.
