I created the first version of SYWON in 2008, because writers were missing so many opportunities. The same thing happens in 2014. In More Profits From Nonfiction Ebooks, we said:
Here’s a tip to take to heart: you can always wring more profit out of what you have. Very, very few writers cast an eye over the content which they own, with an eye to making more money from it.
That doesn’t just apply to nonfiction books. It applies to everything. Very few writers make the most of what they’re doing, and what they have. For example, it doesn’t take much to turn a writing client into a retainer client. If you don’t at least ask clients for another gig while you’re working on your current gig, you’re leaving money on the table.
