Email is becoming a curse. These days, when you open your Inbox, you've got to pan for worthwhile messages like a prospector looking for gold nuggets.
Here's a product that helps, MailWasher Pro.
MailWasher Pro stops the garbage reaching your computer. Just delete the rubbish on your ISP's server. You can download the program and use it for 30 days for free to see if it suits you. I've got no connection with the developers, it's just a product I'd be lost without.
But can you still do business via email? Of course you can. However, strive to personalize each message you send.
Get your messages read by:
1. Stating your reason for sending the message in the subject line;
2. Personalizing each message with the recipient's full name, job title, and company. Don’t send out form email messages to hundreds of people. Even if you're sending out a sales message, send out no more than ten at a time. Focus each message. Make it directly relevant to each person to whom you're sending it;
3. Including your COMPLETE contact details (phone/ fax numbers and address) in your messages, exactly as you would do in postal mail.
