This week's prompt is especially useful if you're writing fiction, but it's great for all writers because it tickles your imagination.
There are two steps:
1. Create a characterCreate a character2. The character's dream
Close your eyes, and wait for an image of a someone or something to form in your mind. Take the first image your imagination tosses up: man, woman, child... animal.
Describe this story character in 100 words.
Your character's dream
Your character wakes up and recalls a dream. Write 200 words.
If you're writing fiction and are currently writing a short story or novel, choose one of the characters in your story - you may be surprised that this simple exercise brings life to your story... it will help your story person to become real to you.
